I’ve been very fortunate to travel to some amazing places within Australia, New Zealand and across North America. I’ve seen places of immense natural beauty, from the snow-covered peaks of Denali to Death Valley in California. I’ve stood on the valley floor of Yosemite National Park and marvelled at the beauty of El Capitan as its granite wall stretches 3000 feet into the sky. From the plains of Texas to the skyline of New York City and everything in between.
My passion for photography started almost 6 years ago when I bought my first DSLR camera, a Canon 550D, my current “weapon” of choice is the Canon 5D Mark 3.
Back when I purchased my first DSLR I attended a number of workshops around the southeast of Queensland and soon moved from auto mode to take more creative control. I’ve been incredibly fortunate to learn so much from some amazing photographers.
My interest in photography is primarily landscape photography. There is something about being in nature that recharges the soul.
Over the years I’ve taken thousands of shots, but after my recent trip to Alaska, I took the plunge and established this website so I can share some of my favourites. Over time I’ll add further galleries including some current and planned projects.
There is so much beauty in this world, explore it.
